Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)
Travel and Ground Transport
(Warsaw, Poland)
Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) has a fairly restricted choice of ground transportation options, with passengers forced to choose from either buses or taxis.
Alternatively, a hire car is a slightly more expensive but altogether more convenient alternative.
Buses
Bus services from the airport to 30 towns in Poland are operated by the Intercity Polski Express bus company. Passengers will find bus stops situated right outside the Arrivals Hall, between the multi-storey car park and the main terminal building. For travel to Warsaw city centre, take bus number 175 or 188, which both stop at the main train station and Old Town.
Taxi Cabs
Passengers will find a taxi rank situated outside the Arrivals Hall. Taxis operate on a metered fare system and run 24 hours a day to most destinations.
Limousines
There are no limousine companies present at the airport. However, a number operate in the city and can provide pick-up at the airport by prior arrangement. Limousine Service is one such company and can be contacted on: +48 22 635 30 00.
